Job Responsibility:
Ensure a safe and secure environment for all members and staff
Enforce all club policies for our members and guests in a warm and hospitable manner
Respond to any medical or emergency needs within the club
Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines for The Quin
Manages all emergency and medical incidents throughout the club
Be attentive to members’ needs
Compile daily shift reports providing hour by hour details of the day
Assist with the member check in experience when necessary
Be attentive and present at the front desk during peak business hours
Have a thorough knowledge of all security systems and procedures
Thorough knowledge of club policies, information, and hours of operation
Conduct regular bag checks for staff during each shift
Monitor vendor and visitor log and oversee work being conducted
Assist People & Culture to manage employee lockers and conduct regular audits
Manage and stock all First Aid kits, providing the Club Security Supervisor with daily inventory
Remain in control and calm during any emergency situations
Descalte any tense or concerning situations
Respond and provide guidance for members and staff during fire alarms
Provide First Aid, CPR and use AED when required
Meet and walkthrough with emergency responders, showing them to the site of emergency
Monitor club regularly and communicate any suspicious or concerning behavior
Conduct regular property tours and communicate any notable damages
Act as our security point of contact for any VIP visits and work directly with security details
Monitor off site parking lot and report any issues to the FOH Manager on duty
Any additional tasks as assigned pertinent to this role
Requirements:
Experience in a security role required, at least 3 -5 years
Hospitality security background preferred
First Aid, CPR, AED Certified
Ability to remain calm and professional in tense emergency situations
Clear and concise communication skills
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
Ability to learn and master NorthStar POS
Excellent oral and written communication skills for reporting
Detail oriented, good prioritization and follow up skills
Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment Legislation
Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
