Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Officer to join our DEJV team (Duratec & Ertech Joint Venture) supporting our long-term major infrastructure construction scopes in Rockingham. As the Security Officer, you will be reporting to the Project Manager and you will be responsible for assisting the project team to manage project security, in line with client security requirements and project security plans.

Job Responsibility

  • Management of personnel access approvals, and permissions for staff, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Conduct security briefings, inductions and training for project staff and subcontractors
  • Assist in the development of procedures to meet security requirements
  • Assist the project team with specific security requirements and reviewing tender packages to ensure security requirements are met

Requirements

  • A background in Quality Assurance, EHS, Project Surveillance, highly regarded
  • Understanding of Government Protective Security Frameworks (PSPF, DSPF, ASIO tech notes etc.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential)
  • Australian Defence background is desirable
  • MUST hold relevant Australian work rights
