Job Description

The Securities Settlement Operation is responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities transactions.

Job Responsibility

  • Process securities transactions
  • Identify and resolve securities settlement issues
  • Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
  • Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
  • Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
  • Ensure processes adhere to audit and control
  • Provide client services – client inquiries, escalation, prioritization of client queries
  • Ensure transactions processing with local market Counterparties and Stock exchange.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of macros
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work on flexible work week- Sunday- Thursday/ Monday- Friday.
