Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Research Associate to provide support in the editing and publishing functions within the Global Research and Economics Group in Wells Fargo Securities. The role involves generating research packet products, posting research documents to market data vendors, updating mailing lists, and providing client access to websites.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support in the editing and publishing functions within the Global Research and Economics Group
Generate research packet products, post research documents to market data vendors, update and maintain mailing lists, and provide client access to web sites
Assign reports to Editors and Supervisory Analysts to ensure the most efficient use of resources
Maintain databases
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Training and guiding junior and new analysts, resolving their project related queries and performing quality check on client deliverables

Requirements:

2+ years of Securities Research experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Outstanding academic qualifications – MBA / master's in finance from a premier educational institution
Relevant prior 2+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications – Power Point and Excel
Knowledge of database tools – Factset, Thomson one, Capital IQ, Factiva, LevFin Insights, LCD News and Bloomberg
Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills
Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Python, VBA etc. would be an added advantage
Ability to provide innovative ideas to efficiently execute the tasks
Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firm's goals & mission
Debt origination/syndication support to Capital Markets team in EMEA & US markets
Understanding of various debt products with specific focus on Hybrid and Liability management
