Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our Data and Regulatory Operations team as the Securities, Pricing, and Corporate Actions Transformation Lead focused on covering our Securities Services business. This critical role will be accountable for the strategic transformation of these key operations functions, overseeing data management, and operational client service with a particular focus on Operating Model and Data Model design and implementation using cutting edge solutions, including AI. This role represents a unique opportunity to drive transformation across core operations, notably contributing to the future state design and implementation of the Data and Regulatory Operations Operating Model and enhanced Controls Monitoring.

Job Responsibility:

Leads the strategic transformation of Securities, Pricing, and Corporate Actions Operations focused on Securities Services within the Data and Regulatory Operation team, driving efficiency gains, improving client experience, and ensuring regulatory compliance through the integration of AI capabilities, and contributing to the future state design and implementation of the Operations Operating Model
Spearheads innovation initiatives, including piloting projects to streamline data and documentation processes and enhance operational efficiency within the context of the evolving Operations Operating Model
Explores the application of automation technologies, including AI, for repetitive tasks
Implements and maintains a robust governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and firmwide initiatives, including responsible data usage guidelines, and integrating these into the future state design of Controls Monitoring
Develops and executes a user-centric investment strategy for Data Operations, leveraging data-driven insights, and incorporating technology solutions aligned with the overall Operations Operating Model transformation
Leads the digitization of critical processes, such as Securities, Pricing, and Corporate Actions, and design and implementation of future state Operations Utility capabilities within Data and Regulatory Operations , focusing on Operating and Data Models
Cultivates a culture of experimentation and learning, driving continuous improvement and fostering a mindset of innovation within Data and Regulatory Operations
Manages and develops a high-performing team within Data and Regulatory Operations, fostering collaboration and professional growth, with a focus on upskilling in relevant technologies

Requirements:

Proven track record of leading large-scale transformational initiatives in the financial services industry with experience in Operations functions
Deep understanding of data management with knowledge of how technology can enhance data management and experience in Operations Operating Model design and implementation
Experience with governance frameworks and compliance requirements in the banking sector, including those related to data privacy and their application in Controls Monitoring
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making within the context of Operations optimization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence stakeholders on transformation initiatives
Experience in agile methodologies and digital transformation best practices applied to Operations functions
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within a complex operational environment
