Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Specialist in Business Operations in Alternative Investments as part of Transactions & Processing division. The role involves participating in lifecycle support initiatives, analyzing operational tasks, resolving issues, and developing expertise in various operational processes.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in low to moderately complex lifecycle support initiatives
Review and analyze basic or tactical functional operational tasks
Provide recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations
Provide information to, collaborate, and consult with peers, colleagues and managers
Develop expertise in operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation
Resolve low to moderately complex escalated issues
Research low to moderately complex business risks
Exercise independent judgment in understanding trade settlement workflow controls
Monitor daily securities and cash related production work
Contribute and may lead implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures

Requirements:

2+ years of Securities Operations experience
Knowledge and understanding of Private Equities and Hedgefunds
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel skills, Macros and formula experience
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong research and analyzing skills
Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment
Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Nice to have:

1+ years of Investment industry experience
Exposure to ICapital Alternative Investment platform
