Job Description:

The Securities & Derivatives Intmd Analyst is responsible for facilitating the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Responsibilities include processing securities transactions, providing analytic inputs for traders, aiding in the review of derivative products, and implementing assigned projects. The role requires adherence to regulatory and policy standards, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems and processes in a dynamic financial environment.

Job Responsibility:

Process securities transactions
provide analytic input for traders
aid in review of derivative products
utilize data analysis tools and methods
recommend process improvements
resolve settlement issues
escalate as needed
formulate new policies to enhance trade flow processes
monitor and mitigate risk
provide guidance and training to new team members
ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
produce regulatory reports for Latin American countries
execute operational activities related to issuer services
review and process client instructions in payment systems
balance accounts
input accounting entries
ensure execution of contractual obligations
update procedures and checklists
deliver presentations
maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

2-5 years of relevant experience
proficient in English
demonstrated comprehension of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economy, Accounting, or Finance
minimum 3 years’ experience in the financial service industry
proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and a heavy workload
excellent attention to detail and accuracy
experience interacting with all levels of professionals
ability to analyze and understand legal documents.

proficiency in Portuguese

advanced knowledge of bank policies
