Job Description:

The Margin & Collateral Optimization group at Citi supports global Markets businesses by mitigating risk, complying with regulatory requirements, and delivering best-in-class capabilities in management and optimization. The team ensures alignment with Citi's target operating model, drives transformation initiatives, and champions diversity and talent growth.

Job Responsibility:

Operate as a senior leader of the Product & Business Development team
lead product development and strategy for a specific product line and/or service
ensure developments are in line with the target operating model and design standards
ensure products and/or service developments are delivered on time and within budget
drive risk reduction, cost reduction, client service excellence and revenue opportunities
partner closely with key groups such as Technology, Markets business, Operations, and Risk for product development
champion diversity and inclusion
develop talent and support their growth.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree preferred
10+ years’ experience in margin and collateral with a strong appreciation of margin regulations, securities products, practices and risks, and/or product/service design, execution and delivery of large strategic change programmes
strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise demonstrated success interacting with senior business, operations and technology stakeholders
innovative, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
thinks logically and is good at problem solving
result orientated
able to write clearly and concisely
demonstrate sound judgement and a strong risk management mindset
ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the business as a leader, advisor and business partner
strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.

Nice to have:

Experience at large financial services firm
ability to present ideas and proposals to senior decision makers without technical jargon.
