Job Description:

The Securities Settlement Back Office is responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities transactions.

Job Responsibility:

Process securities transactions
Identify and resolve securities settlement issues
Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
Assist with control activities and the launch of new products and services
Ensure processes adhere to audit and control
Provide client services such as client inquiries, escalation, and prioritization of client queries
Ensure transaction processing with local market counterparties and stock exchange

Requirements:

Relevant experience preferred
Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
Demonstrated knowledge of macros
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience
