The Securities & Derivatives Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations- Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of accuracy and efficiency. Job Responsibility
Confirm and settle client securities/cash transactions accurately
Process internal and external asset transfers
Manage cash payments and bookkeeping for liquidity
Act as client contact for inquiries and transaction reporting
Resolve discrepancies with internal and external partners
Escalate and collaborate on complex transaction issues
Monitor transactions to mitigate operational/financial risk
Perform daily/monthly account reconciliations and resolve breaks
Assess risk, ensure compliance, and apply ethical judgment
Generate management reports for regulatory and internal needs
Identify and implement process automation and control improvements
Assist with new system testing and product launch readiness (e.g., Aladdin)
Requirements
Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Operations, or a related field
A fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting principles, and financial market regulations
Demonstrated ability to perform various concurrent activities and projects in a high-risk, fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with a high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with macros, and data analysis is a plus)
Nice to have
Experience with financial systems such as Aladdin is considered an advantage.
