Job Description

One of the Netherlands’ leading banks is looking for a Domain Expert – Secure Coding to strengthen its Development Services department. You’ll work alongside development teams across the organisation to improve application security, reduce software vulnerabilities, and help shape secure development practices. This role combines hands-on technical work with collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement of security tooling and standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyse and triage security findings from SAST and SCA tools such as Fortify and Nexus Lifecycle
  • Help development teams understand and remediate application security vulnerabilities
  • Maintain Secure Coding Standards and improve the bank’s security posture
  • Enhance internally developed security tooling and optimise security rulesets
  • Research emerging security topics including AI-driven threats and secure software development

Requirements

  • Experience in Secure Coding, Application Security or DevSecOps
  • Hands-on experience with SAST/SCA tools (Fortify, Nexus Lifecycle, Checkmarx, Veracode or similar)
  • Software development experience in at least one programming language
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with development teams
  • Experience working within large enterprise or financial environments
