Job Description:

Our client, a defense contractor located at Naval Air Station Point Mugu near Camarillo, CA, is seeking a Secret Cleared Software Developer for a full-time onsite role supporting a U.S. Navy program. The Software Developer will help design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices and related platform components in a modern Agile environment. This role is heavily focused on C#/.NET Core development, containerized applications, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipeline support, and integrations across enterprise and AWS-based services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices and related platform components in a modern Agile environment
  • C#/.NET Core development, containerized applications, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipeline support, and integrations across enterprise and AWS-based services

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience building and deploying scalable microservices using C# within the modern .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core and ASP.NET
  • Understanding of containerization with Docker
  • Knowledge of at least one orchestration platform such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Understanding across the full stack, including modern front-end development such as Angular and development of RESTful APIs
  • Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or Oracle
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative Agile environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related technical field
