Our client, a defense contractor located at Naval Base Point Mugu near Camarillo, CA, is seeking a Secret Cleared Software Configuration and Data Management professional for full-time employment. The person in this role will work onsite on a classified Navy program and support software configuration management, product data control, release and deployment activities, and technical documentation for aircraft systems and related digital products. This position will also work closely with engineering and software configuration management teams to manage controlled software/data libraries, release materials, and related distribution activities.

Requirements
3+ years of experience supporting aircraft systems configuration management
3+ years of program experience in configuration management, data management, or related product support functions
Demonstrated experience with Configuration and Data Management (CMDM) processes
Experience managing controlled software/data libraries, media, release packages, and related technical documentation
Experience supporting software and hardware baseline control, product integrity, and release management
Experience supporting test and deployment activities, including generation of deployment media, release artifacts, and related support materials
Experience supporting shipment, receipt, distribution, and tracking activities for controlled materials or release packages
Experience writing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation in accordance with defined program processes
Experience gathering information from engineers, SMEs, or other stakeholders to support documentation and product support activities
Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Nice to have
Experience with Navy data management processes
Knowledge of DoD security classification marking procedures
Experience supporting aircraft avionics, subsystems, ancillary equipment, and ground support equipment
Experience supporting development, testing, production, and operational use environments
