Job Description:

We are recruiting for Secondary Teaching Assistants to support students in schools across the entire Liverpool region. Whether you are a career TA or an aspiring teacher, we have opportunities waiting for you. We offer both day to day and long term supply with a competitive salary.

Job Responsibility:

  • Setting up equipment and resources before the lesson begins
  • Simplifying the teacher's instructions for small groups
  • Sitting 1-to-1 with students to help them stay on task
  • Handing out worksheets and collecting completed work
  • Monitoring student behaviour in hallways during lesson changes
  • Supervising students during lunch breaks or yard duty
  • Recording student progress in the school's digital log

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
  • Resilience, patience, and a genuine desire to help children grow
