Secondary Teaching Assistant | Academic & Pastoral Support | Local Secondary Schools. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £88.92 - £100 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you a motivated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Join our secondary school network as a Teaching Assistant and help students navigate the academic and social challenges of high school. We are seeking dedicated Secondary Support Assistants to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead small breakout groups or 1:1 sessions for students needing extra support
  • work alongside subject teachers to manage classroom dynamics for SEND students
  • assist with emotional regulation and social skills
  • act as reader or scribe during mock exams and assessments
