Job Responsibility:
Targeted Academic Support: Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions in core subjects like English, Maths, and Science to help close attainment gaps
Inclusion Advocacy: Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Autism, ADHD, or Dyslexia, ensuring their specific learning plans are implemented
Social & Emotional Mentoring: Act as a positive role model, helping students navigate the social challenges of secondary school and building their emotional resilience
Classroom Collaboration: Work closely with the class teacher to manage classroom transitions, prepare resources, and ensure a focused learning environment
Progress Monitoring: Observe and record student progress, providing valuable feedback to the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and parents
Exam Access Support: Assist students during internal and external examinations as a reader, scribe, or prompt to ensure they can showcase their true potential
Requirements:
