Job Description:

We are working with a range of Secondary Schools in Walthamstow who are looking for confident, professional and dedicated people to work as Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants in their schools to provide short-term and daily cover for teachers. This role is offered on a full-time contract basis for the full academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Working with pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons
  • Working closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers, providing assessments and reports

Requirements:

  • Confident
  • Professional
  • Dedicated
  • Experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD is an advantage but not necessarily needed
