Job Description:

A diverse and inclusive school in Redbridge are looking for Secondary Learning Support Assistants to join their school immediately. This large school in Redbridge, with good local transport links and a popular choice for families in the local area. There is a strong leadership team in place within the Secondary school and staff and pupils enjoy a smaller, community atmosphere.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs across Key stage 3 and key stage 4
Working with pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons
Working closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers
Providing assessments and reports

Requirements:

Experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD is an advantage
Calm and consistent approach
Committed to supporting pupils to make progress and overcome learning barriers

Nice to have:

Experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD
