We are seeking dedicated Secondary Support Assistants to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role is the perfect foundation for future teachers, social workers, or educational psychologists who want to gain boots-on-the-ground experience in a fast-paced secondary environment. As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you are a vital link between the student and the curriculum.
Job Responsibility
Lead small breakout groups or 1:1 sessions for students needing extra support with literacy, numeracy, or specific subject coursework
Work alongside subject teachers to manage classroom dynamics and ensure students with additional needs (SEND) can access the lesson
Assist with emotional regulation and social skills, helping students navigate secondary school life
Act as a reader or scribe for students during mock exams and assessments
