Job Description:

A holistic and ‘Outstanding’ Secondary school in Wandsworth seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant – Unqualified to join their team in September 2025. Ideal for aspiring teachers, the school offers state-of-the-art teacher training.

Job Responsibility:

Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
supporting students with disabilities to access the curriculum
assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students
monitoring students’ progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents
providing pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
assisting with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources.

Requirements:

Have a 2:1 or 1:1 from a reputable university
experience working with students with learning difficulties
committed to providing high-quality education and support
work effectively as part of a team
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
organised, reliable, and flexible
can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
