We are seeking dedicated Secondary Support Assistants to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role is the perfect foundation for future teachers, social workers, or educational psychologists who want to gain 'boots-on-the-ground' experience in a fast-paced secondary environment. Subject Support: Use your own academic strengths (Maths, English, Science, etc.) to help students grasp complex concepts and improve their GCSE prospects. Job Responsibility:

Targeted interventions: Lead small 'breakout' groups or 1:1 sessions for students who need extra support with literacy, numeracy, or specific subject coursework
In-class support: Work alongside subject teachers to manage classroom dynamics, ensuring that students with additional needs (SEND) can access the lesson
Pastoral care: Assist with emotional regulation and social skills, helping students navigate the complexities of secondary school life
Exam access support: Act as a reader or scribe for students during mock exams and assessments to ensure they can demonstrate their full potential

Requirements:

Relevant experience from school, university tutoring, sports coaching, or volunteering with youth groups
