You will be the vital support system for students with diverse needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Job Responsibility:
1:1 & Small Group Support: Work closely with students to break down complex tasks into manageable steps
Inclusive Learning: Support students with SEN, EAL (English as an Additional Language), or those who just need an extra boost
Classroom Partnership: Assist the Subject Teacher in managing the classroom and preparing learning materials
Emotional Support: Build strong, professional relationships that help students feel safe and motivated to learn
Requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK and an Enhanced Child DBS (on the update service)
Empathy & Resilience: The ability to stay calm and supportive in challenging situations
Communication: Strong English and Maths skills to assist with the secondary curriculum
Experience: Previous experience with teenagers or in an educational setting is a plus
