Secondary Teaching Assistant | Academic & Pastoral Support | Local Secondary Schools. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £88.92 - £100 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you a motivated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Join our secondary school network as a Teaching Assistant and help students navigate the academic and social challenges of high school.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead small breakout groups or 1:1 sessions for students who need extra support with literacy, numeracy, or specific subject coursework
  • Work alongside subject teachers to manage classroom dynamics, ensuring that students with additional needs (SEND) can access the lesson
  • Assist with emotional regulation and social skills, helping students navigate the complexities of secondary school life
  • Act as a reader or scribe for students during mock exams and assessments to ensure they can demonstrate their full potential
