Secondary Teaching Assistant | Academic & Pastoral Support | Local Secondary Schools. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £88.92 - £100 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you a motivated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Join our secondary school network as a Teaching Assistant and help students navigate the academic and social challenges of high school.

Job Responsibility

  • Subject Support using own academic strengths (Maths, English, Science, etc.)
  • Mentorship Role as positive role model
  • Lead small 'breakout' groups or 1:1 sessions for students needing extra support
  • In-Class Support alongside subject teachers
  • Pastoral Care assisting with emotional regulation and social skills
  • Exam Access Support as reader or scribe during mock exams and assessments
