We are seeking dedicated Secondary Support Assistants to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Job Responsibility:
Subject Support: Use your own academic strengths (Maths, English, Science, etc.) to help students grasp complex concepts and improve their GCSE prospects
Mentorship Role: Act as a positive role model, helping teenagers build the resilience, organisation, and confidence they need to succeed
Targeted Interventions: Lead small breakout groups or 1:1 sessions for students who need extra support with literacy, numeracy, or specific subject coursework
In-Class Support: Work alongside subject teachers to manage classroom dynamics, ensuring that students with additional needs (SEND) can access the lesson
Pastoral Care: Assist with emotional regulation and social skills, helping students navigate the complexities of secondary school life
Exam Access Support: Act as a reader or scribe for students during mock exams and assessments
