Job Description:

A diverse and inclusive school in Redbridge are looking for Secondary Learning Support Assistants to join their school immediately. This large school in Redbridge, with good local transport links and a popular choice for families in the local area. There is a strong leadership team in place within the Secondary school and staff and pupils enjoy a smaller, community atmosphere.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Working with pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons
  • Working closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers
  • Providing assessments and reports

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD is an advantage
  • Calm and consistent approach
  • Committed to supporting pupils to make progress and overcome learning barriers
