We have immediate openings in secondary schools across the following areas: Crosby (L23), Maghull & Melling (L31), Bootle (L20), Southport (PR8 / PR9), Formby (L37), Litherland & Waterloo (L21 / L22).

Job Responsibility:

  • Helping small groups of students get back on track with their lessons
  • Gently guiding students back to their work when they get distracted
  • Helping students feel ready and calm for their tests and assessments
  • Using positive talk to keep the classroom calm and respectful
  • Giving students the encouragement they need to keep trying
  • Supporting the teacher to make sure every student can join in
  • Being a positive role model that students can look up to

Requirements:

  • A friendly and approachable personality
  • The ability to stay calm and patient in a busy environment
  • Good communication skills to help teenagers understand their work
  • Reliability so that the schools and students can count on you
