We have an exciting opportunity for an Secondary Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway. A supportive and inclusive secondary school focused on strong academic outcomes and student development. Job Responsibility

  • Support classroom teacher with lesson delivery
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Assist pupils with additional learning needs
  • Help manage classroom behaviour
