Job Description:

A holistic and 'Outstanding' Secondary school in Wandsworth are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant – Unqualified to join their team ASAP! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and who wants to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Supporting students with disabilities to access the curriculum
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents
  • Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources

Requirements:

  • Have a 2:1 or 1:1 from a reputable university
  • Experience working with students with learning difficulties
  • Be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Be organised, reliable, and flexible
  • Have a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
