Job Description:

A holistic and 'Outstanding' Secondary school in Wandsworth are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant – Unqualified to join their team ASAP! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and who wants to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities
Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
Supporting students with disabilities to access the curriculum
Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students
Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents
Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
Assisting with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources

Requirements:

Have a 2:1 or 1:1 from a reputable university
Experience working with students with learning difficulties
Be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Be organised, reliable, and flexible
Have a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
