Job Description:

Supply Desk is recruiting Secondary Teachers and Cover Supervisors to inspire and engage students across Buckinghamshire. Whether you’re a subject specialist, recent graduate, or experienced educator, we’ll match you with roles that suit your skills and aspirations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that spark curiosity and creativity
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive environment, working within clear school behaviour systems and strong SLT support
  • Adapt lessons to diverse learning styles and student needs
  • Monitor and support student progress through feedback and assessment
  • Collaborate effectively with school staff and leadership
  • Teachers taking long-term roles will follow full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking, unless otherwise agreed with the school
  • Cover Supervisors will lead classes using pre-prepared materials and receive full guidance, even if this is their first school-based role

Requirements:

  • Teachers (Qualified Teacher or equivalent, including overseas-trained teachers), unqualified educators or graduates seeking classroom experience
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence managing classrooms
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm to work across varied school environments
  • Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
