Job Responsibility

  • Plan and teach high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and (if applicable) 5
  • Use data to monitor student achievement and implement interventions where gaps are identified
  • Guide students through GCSE/A-Level specifications, focusing on exam technique and marking criteria
  • Maintain a focused, respectful classroom culture using the school's behaviour framework
  • Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of a specific student group
  • Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and share best practices with colleagues
