Are you a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher looking to secure a permanent role within a supportive and forward-thinking school? We are currently working with a number of secondary schools seeking enthusiastic teachers to join their teams on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to develop their careers within a positive and engaging learning environment. You will play a key role in inspiring students, delivering high-quality lessons, and supporting pupils to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across their subject specialism, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged appropriately. You will be expected to plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum, assess student progress, and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners. You will also be involved in the wider school community, including attending staff meetings, parents' evenings, and contributing to the overall development of the department. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues are essential for this role.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with school policies
Differentiate lessons to support students of all abilities
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Participate in staff meetings, training and school events
Support the academic and personal development of all pupils
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
