Experience teaching in secondary schools across Key Stages 3 and/or 4
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Adaptable and confident working across different subjects and year groups
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Job Responsibility

Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in your subject specialism
Follow school planning or adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback where appropriate
Support pupils in developing subject knowledge, confidence, and transferable skills
Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth handover and consistent learning experience
Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
