Job Responsibility:
Deliver pre-planned lessons with confidence, ensuring that students in Years 7-13 continue to make progress against the National Curriculum
Utilise sophisticated behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused and productive learning environment for teenagers
Adapt the delivery of materials on the fly to support students with SEND or to stretch higher-attaining pupils at Key Stage 4
Provide concise, high-quality feedback to the department head to ensure seamless continuity for the student's regular teacher
Requirements:
Hold QTS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
deep understanding of your specialist subject and a general ability to cover other areas of the secondary curriculum
can walk into a new classroom and quickly build rapport with teenagers through subject passion and firm boundaries
hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
