Job Description

Provide Special Education Services to Secondary School Students , 6-12 grade students with a range of disabilities in an inclusive setting. Duties include, but are not limited to, IEP Development, co-planning & co-teaching, participating in PLC and grade-level, team PLC meetings. Collaborating with classroom teachers and therapists and communicating with families.

Requirements

  • New York State Teacher Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment
  • Resume/CV

  • Three (3) Letters of Reference (highly preferred for external candidates)
  • MANDATORY Writing Sample

Nice to have

  • Experience with AAC Devices
  • An educational leader whose competency, energy, and commitment will help ensure that students thrive
