Job Description:

Secondary SEND Teacher | Specialist Subject Lead | Local SEN Schools. Position: Full-Time or Part-Time, Flexible (Term Time Only). Salary: £140 - £233 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you a dedicated educator passionate about bridging the gap between education and independence? Join our specialist network as a Secondary SEND Teacher and empower young people to navigate the transition into adulthood.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that translate academic concepts into real-world skills
  • Use total communication strategies tailored to teenage learners
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language specialists to integrate therapeutic targets
  • Manage a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants
  • Lead a specialised setting with high staff-to-pupil ratios
  • Develop expertise in EHCP management for adolescents
  • Focus on functional literacy, numeracy, and the Preparation for Adulthood framework
