Job Description:

Be the Bridge to Their Success: Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant Role. Are you a secondary specialist with a primary teacher's heart? Can you provide the dignity and care these amazing learners deserve? Randstad Education is on the lookout for dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistants to support the children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Learning Difficulties and Complex needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure a calm and safe environment for the SEN children
  • Act as bridge between the teacher and the students
  • Adapting complex lessons to match the learning level of the students
  • Help students stay focused on their work
  • Encourage students to try new tasks
  • Help them in socialising with others, developing their life skills
  • Monitor the progress of the SEN children and communicate with the teacher and parents

Requirements:

  • Expreince handling special needs children is must
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingess to apply)
  • Two professional references
  • Ability to work full time Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm
  • Genuine desire towards the child success

  • Build transferable skills in observation, intervention, and tailored support that will strengthen applications for postgraduate study or careers in clinical, educational, or occupational psychology
  • Supporting pupils with a wide range of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Complex Needs
