Job Responsibility
Facilitate engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, bringing subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to life
Provide expert instruction, focusing on core curriculum mastery, data analysis, and scientific inquiry
Support examination cohorts with targeted preparation for GCSE and A-Level success
Maintain a safe, structured, and disciplined laboratory environment, ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly observed
Adapt teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL, to ensure accessibility for all
Requirements
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
ECTs are highly encouraged to apply
Possess a degree in a Science-related field with a comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly
Possess an enhanced DBS on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one, with a firm commitment to safeguarding
