This full-time, temporary post is ideal for a dedicated Science professional ready to contribute fully to departmental success within Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
Job Responsibility
Delivering high-quality, engaging Science lessons
Assessing student progress
For full-scale roles: planning, preparation, and detailed marking of all pupils' work
Contributing to schemes of work
Undertaking a form tutor role
Actively participating in whole-school life
Requirements
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field).
Possesses recent, demonstrable experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Exhibits excellent classroom management skills, with a strong awareness of laboratory safety protocols.
Is passionate about Science and committed to raising student attainment.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum requirements for Science.
Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
