Randstad is currently looking for versatile and passionate Secondary Teachers across all subject specialisms to work within our welcoming partner schools based in the Wigan area. You'll be joining dedicated teams of highly skilled staff and learning support assistants, taking responsibility for pupil progress while providing 1:1 support when required to ensure no child is left behind.
Job Responsibility:
Create an engaging learning space through professionally planned lessons and stimulating classroom displays
Use imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience, ensuring lessons are both challenging and accessible
Maintain effective discipline and control over the whole class, fostering a culture of respect and high expectations
Adhere to the National Curriculum, including staying up to date with any structural changes in your subject area
Stretch high-achieving pupils while providing additional support to those who need it most
Requirements:
Must hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE/B.Ed)
Proven experience working within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
An Enhanced DBS on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Ability to provide professional references covering at least 12 months within the last 2 years
