Job Description:

Teaching is Communication-Are You Listening? Location: Chaldon, Surrey (with occasional travel to Caterham). To you, 'challenging behavior' is simply an unmet need. We are looking for an empathetic soul to create a sanctuary for learning for students with Autism and sensory processing needs. This isn't about hitting rigid targets; it's about emotional regulation, nurture, and building a world where our students feel safe enough to learn. Why This Role is Different: We don't believe in 'one size fits all.' Our students follow a broad, exciting curriculum tailored to their specific passions and interests. You won't be doing this alone; you will work within a model of small class sizes and high levels of classroom support, backed by a supernumerary multi-disciplinary intervention team. The Essentials: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Hours: 40 hours per week (8:15 am start; finish times vary between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm). Flexibility: While based in Chaldon, you may occasionally support our satellite site in nearby Caterham.
