Job Description

Do you believe that the best learning happens when a student feels safe, understood, and inspired? We are looking for a KS3 SEN Teacher who is ready to step away from traditional constraints and into a role where creativity and compassion are your most important tools. Based in Hinckley, you will work with a vibrant group of learners aged 7-19. Our mission is simple but profound: to help young people re-engage with education by building a curriculum around them, rather than forcing them to fit a mold. A Different Kind of Teaching. Forget the 30-student lecture. Here, you will focus on small groups and 1:1 interventions, allowing you to actually see the impact of your work in real-time. Diverse Curriculum: You'll lead sessions in Maths and English, but you'll also dive into life-skills subjects like Cooking, PSHE, and Preparation for Adulthood (PFA). Multi-Sensory Approach: In collaboration with our Site Lead Teachers, you will craft innovative, hands-on learning experiences that satisfy individual EHCP requirements. Emotional & Academic Growth: Your goal is to balance academic progress with social and emotional resilience, ensuring every student feels empowered to reach their full potential. Professional Collaboration: You will be a key part of the support network, working with Learning Managers to maintain accurate profiles, track milestones, and report on student transitions.
