Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated Secondary PE Teacher to join a thriving Physical Education department at a reputable secondary school in the Seaford area. This is a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible, offering you the chance to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 through a variety of sports and theoretical PE.

Job Responsibility:

  • Active Teaching: Deliver high-quality practical PE lessons across a range of sports (Football, Rugby, Netball, Athletics, and more)
  • Theory Instruction: Lead KS4 pupils through GCSE or BTEC PE curriculum requirements
  • Full-Time Commitment: Enjoy a consistent 08:00 - 16:00 schedule, 5 days a week
  • Extracurricular Impact: Lead after-school clubs and coordinate fixtures with other local East Sussex schools

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS: Specialized in Physical Education
  • Secondary Experience: Proven track record of managing large groups in a sports setting
  • Versatility: The ability to coach multiple disciplines and adapt to varying skill levels
  • Resilience: A positive role model who can engage students of all athletic abilities
