Linguistic Versatility: Lead lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering everything from foundational vocabulary and grammar to sophisticated GCSE film and literature studies. Your Role as an MFL Lead As a Secondary MFL Teacher, you are responsible for building student confidence and breaking down the barriers to effective communication in a foreign tongue. Expert Lesson Delivery: Facilitate engaging lessons that balance the four key skills-Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing-using authentic resources to bring the language to life. GCSE Focus: Support examination cohorts with targeted preparation, focusing on translation skills, verb tense mastery, and spontaneous speaking confidence. Classroom Authority: Maintain a vibrant and supportive environment where students feel safe to take risks with their pronunciation and engage in role-play. Adaptive Support: Differentiate resources on the fly to support students with SEND or those who are dual-linguists, ensuring the curriculum is both accessible and challenging.
