Job Responsibility:
Expert Curriculum Delivery: Confidently deliver lessons on everything from algebra and geometry to statistics and probability, ensuring students remain engaged and challenged
Exam Technique Focus: Support Year 11 students with targeted revision and exam strategies to help them achieve their target grades in their GCSEs
Classroom Authority: Maintain a focused, productive learning environment through a professional presence and a clear passion for the subject
Adaptive Support: Quickly identify and address misconceptions, providing differentiated support for students with SEND or those aiming for Grade 9
Requirements:
Hold QTS
You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are highly encouraged to apply)
Are a Maths Specialist
You have a degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a deep understanding of the current GCSE curriculum (A-Level experience is a plus)
Are Engaging & Resilient
You can make Maths relevant and interesting to a diverse range of students, maintaining firm but fair boundaries
Are Committed
You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
