We are seeking Qualified Maths Teachers (QTS/ECTs) to provide specialist cover across a variety of secondary schools. As a core subject specialist, your skills are in high demand-giving you the unique opportunity to choose the environments that suit your teaching style while skipping the departmental meetings and data-heavy weekends.
Job Responsibility
Lead lessons across the full ability range, from foundational numeracy at KS3 to higher-tier GCSE preparation
Deliver high-impact teaching during the day and leave the marking, planning, and parent evenings behind
Confidently deliver lessons on everything from algebra and geometry to statistics and probability, ensuring students remain engaged and challenged
Support Year 11 students with targeted revision and exam strategies to help them achieve their target grades in their GCSEs
Maintain a focused, productive learning environment through a professional presence and a clear passion for the subject
Quickly identify and address misconceptions, providing differentiated support for students with SEND or those aiming for Grade 9
Requirements
Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are highly encouraged to apply)
Are a Maths Specialist: You have a degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a deep understanding of the current GCSE curriculum (A-Level experience is a plus)
Are Engaging & Resilient: You can make Maths relevant and interesting to a diverse range of students, maintaining firm but fair boundaries
Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
