WARRINGTON SCHOOLS ARE CALLING! The search is ON! We are hunting for dedicated Secondary HLTAs to join our elite team across Warrington, Lymm, and Birchwood. If you've got the skills to lead and the heart to inspire, we want YOU in our classrooms! This isn't just a job; it's your chance to be the backbone of a secondary department. Whether you're a seasoned Level 4 pro or a fresh HLTA ready to make your mark, Warrington's schools are ready for your arrival.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes independently
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning environment
  • Run small-group interventions to help students catch up in core subjects
  • Support GCSE students with targeted exam preparation and revision techniques
  • Adapt lesson materials to meet the specific needs of students
  • Provide detailed feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement
  • Supervise and mentor other Teaching Assistants within the department
  • Assist with exam arrangements, acting as a scribe or reader for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievement during cover

Requirements:

  • HLTA Status or a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification with a proven track record of supporting students
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour independently and calmly
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to get one- we can help with this)
