Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher for a full-time, ongoing position commencing as soon as possible or by negotiation. Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and implement engaging English units aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE standards
  • Utilise contemporary teaching practices and digital technologies to create differentiated learning experiences for a diverse student body
  • Contribute to the college’s strong pastoral system, supporting the emotional and social development of students within a faith-based framework
  • Actively participate in professional learning teams to enhance student outcomes and share innovative teaching strategies

Requirements:

  • Valid VIT Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
  • Strong subject matter knowledge in English with the ability to engage students of all ability levels
  • A collaborative team player who is supportive of the Catholic ethos and mission of the College
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to build rapport with adolescents and their families
