Job Description:

This position involves teaching a diverse load across the secondary years, including the opportunity to teach VCE Year 12 English (if comfortable). This role involves teaching Grades 8 and 9 - with the option to teacher Grade 12 English if you are experienced and interested. Curriculum: Deliver high-quality English instruction for Year 8, 9, and 12, with the potential to contribute to the Year 9 Humanities program. Pedagogy: Utilise the school’s modern learning framework to create engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities. Collaboration: Participate actively in professional learning teams (PLTs) to enhance curriculum design and pedagogical practice across the English faculty. A rapidly growing Government Secondary College located in the thriving northern suburbs of Melbourne (Epping). Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher for a family leave position commencing in Week 6 or 7 of Term 2, 2026. This role is confirmed until the end of the 2026 academic year, with a strong possibility of extension. Job Responsibility:
