Job Description:

This is an ongoing full-time position teaching English and Humanities across the secondary year levels. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that challenges students to think critically and engage deeply with the world around them.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English and Humanities aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
  • Utilise contemporary teaching practices and digital technologies to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Actively contribute to the College's pastoral care program, supporting the emotional and social wellbeing of students
  • Participate in professional learning teams and faculty meetings to continuously improve teaching and learning outcomes

Requirements:

  • Valid VIT Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
  • A commitment to support the Catholic ethos and values of the College
  • Strong subject matter knowledge in English and Humanities with the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A collaborative spirit
  • A passion for secondary education
